Every good website starts with a solid foundation. In this part of the program, we’ll be digging into the purpose behind your website. It’s not enough to just throw together a site, adding some pictures and text, and hoping that people will buy from you.
We start with your “why”, define who your ideal client is, and then craft the messaging that will speak directly to his/her emotions.

Optimizing Your Website
We’re going to talk about optimizing your website early in the program because it’s foundational to building your site.
You will come away with a clear understanding of what search engine optimization is and how to build your site in a way that gets you seen and ranked high in search engines like Google.
MODULE 03
Building Your Website
This is where the rubber meets the road. I’ll be guiding you step-by-step through the process of building your website.
You’ll learn everything from registering your domain, picking and customizing your design theme, writing your content and building out the pages on your website.
MODULE 04
Measuring Success
In order to know whether your website is successful or not, you need to have a clear understanding of where you started and where you want to go.
I will teach you a variety of tools, such as Google Analytics and Search Engine Console, that can be used to measure the success of your website, and how to tweak things to move the needle faster.

I started my career as a computer programmer in a large corporation with cubicle offices as far as you could see. I thought this was what I wanted to do for my entire career. That was, until we had kids, and I realized that my career was running my life.
I was missing out on my kids’ activities, felt stressed when I got home from work, and felt like I was “halfway parenting.” I knew there had to be a better way. Maybe you can relate?
In 2001, I took the plunge into web design, learning it all on my own (with the help of Google and a LOT of coffee ).
